Young Artists Ensemble and the Hillcrest Players Present Auditions for

Twinderella

Directed by Barbara Wegher-Thompson

Open to performers Age 7-14**

We've all heard the story of Cinderella a thousand times, but we've never heard about Bob, her long lost twin brother! Living in the same kingdom with different wicked stepfamilies, Cinderella's cruel stepmother and evil stepsisters make her rotate tires while Bob's evil stepfather and cruel stepbrothers force him to organize their sock drawers. When Lou the UPS Guy arrives with invitations from the Kingdom of Wychwood-under-Ooze, Cinderella and Bob are both thrilled but forbidden to attend the festivities. Armed with a Fairy Godmother, The Godfather, two enchanted guinea pigs, and a lot of luck, this pair of twins is determined to find a way. Minutes after their midnight disappearances on the night of the party, the search commences for Bob and Cinderella and the various footwear they’ve left behind. A spin off the classic tale of Cinderella, Twinderella will delight actors and audiences alike as hilarity and shenanigans ensue.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

Rehearsals held Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30pm to 6:30pm,
and Saturdays 9:00am to 1:00pm beginning Wednesday, 2/1.

All Cast and Parents must attend a mandatory
welcome meeting Wednesday, Feb 1, 7:30 to 8:30pm.

Performances March 17 & 24, 2012

Auditions, Rehearsals, and Performances all take place at the
HILLCREST CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Please prepare a one-minute memorized monologue or poem. Please wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in. Auditions will consist of performing your monologue or poem and cold reading from the script. Each Audition Slot will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

There is a $180 participant fee if cast.
Financial Assistance is available.
